Summit Teacher and Founder of "Be Beautiful – Be You", Barbara Henderson

January 21, 2009, CEO and Founder of "R8:28", Barbara Henderson spoke to the members of Soroptimist International of Pasadena, TX at their monthly Program Meeting. Barbara Henderson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State.  She has worked with diverse groups of girls and young adult women in educational as well as religious settings.  Her calling is found in teaching girls and young adult women to value themselves for their uniqueness.  She is an inspiration to others.  Through sharing her experiences, Barbara challenges her audience to conquer their obstacles and breakthrough to achieving their goals. This is achieved through Self Esteem Forums, Body Image Workshops, Beauty Workshops, Fashion Shows, Empowerment Conferences and Educational Seminars.

After a short power point presentation, members discussed with Barbara ways the club could help her with her organization.
